Flash Bomba (Fan Art)

Flash Bomba is a comic book character created by Filipino graphic novelist Mars Ravelo.

Paul Lester Sison, aka Flash Bomba, was a guy who in an accident lost the use of his legs. He conditioned the rest of his physique to an extraordinary degree of physical ability because of this and did regular things with his hands to mitigate for the lack of his ability to walk.

He eventually heard a story about a "Tikbalang" (a mythological creature with a man's body and a horse's head) who would offer powers to anyone who would beat him in combat.

The Tikbalang was challenged by Flash Bomba - and set a time and place for combat. Despite his physical limitations, he vanquished it and the Tikbalang gave him superpowers. But as a joke, he was granted powers by the Tikbalang that made him look weird.

Flash was given the Tikbalang's magic hair, said talisman allowing Flash to transform into his super-powered version - a being with large hands and feet, as well as superhuman powers. Using his new abilities, he became a crimefighter.
